Corfu, the princess of the Ionian Islands, is considered one of the most beautiful and famous summer resorts in Mediterranean. Hotel “Asteraki”, located 8 km from the centre of Corfu , was our accommodation for several nights during our holidays.
“Asteraki” features 15 apartments and 35 studios with fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, air condition, each of them thoughtfully and comfortably organized and decorated. The apartments and the studios are spread around the pool area surrounded by grass and flowers, while tiled narrow streets gave us relaxing and cozy atmosphere. What we liked from our apartment is the simplicity and the bright colours, as well as the equipped kitchen and the great pool and garden view that we had. We also liked the swimming pool, combined with a few drinks served from the hotel’s bar.
Gouvia village is a few seconds away from the complex, while the beach is just 200meters. The famous Gouvia’s marina bay is also pretty close. We had a lovely walk there and enjoyed some delicious meals at one of the restaurants there.
Being close to the city center as well as the beach and offering great hospitality, Asteraki hotel is one of our choices for holidays in Corfu.
