For hundreds of years, travellers have arrived at the traditional port of Boukari on the south-east coast of Corfu, to take a stroll around the age-old olive groves and scented lemon trees.
The one we visited during our trip there , was Helios Hotel. We could not request for a better welcome than the one we got.This family run pension combines traditional Greek values and relaxation at an affordable price.
The thing we like most was that we had to walk for just 200m to get to the sea in one of the most unspoilt part of the island. Our room had a spacious balcony with a great sea view. Everyday , we had our breakfast in the garden in the shade of our olive trees.
There was even an option for a vegan breakfast upon request.
From what we saw, guests were really happy to stay at Helios hotel.If you are planning to come to Corfu for your holidays , you should definitely keep it in mind.
