We visited Santorini for a few days and one the places we had dinner was marmita!
A family atmosphere restaurant right in the main square of Old Megalachori. From the first moment the friendly waiter explained the menu and recommended tomato balsas a starter (phenomenal) and had chicken souvlaki and the fisherman’s pasta – squid, prawns, mussels and octopus with linguine in a garlic and tomato sauce
Extremely tasty dishes . During the night there was also live entertainment!
Great emphasis has been placed on the traditional style of the restaurant and to be honest we were surprised of two things! The first was the variety fo the menu. So many choices to order! The second were the prices. Really affordable.
Going back to Marmita for more tomato balls and for sure their local Santorini wine!
