Olive trees are the characteristic trees of the Greek landscape and that’s what surrounds Olive Villa in Kolymbia, a village only 23km from Rhodes Town.
We parked our car in the big space provided and met the owner who was a very nice person and helped us with any question we had about the area. This villa created cozy and welcoming feeling so we had a spa bath and then wandered the Kolymbia beach and tasted some Greek dishes in a tavern.
Lying on our comfortable beds, we slept easily thanks to the peace Olive Villa offers. We spent the other day in Rhodes Town and had fun when we decided to go back and swim in the pool enjoying the quiet after a noisy day in town, and talking about how wonderful it would be to come in winter and use the fireplace while watching the surrounding area in a different season.
We thanked the owner for the great service and experience we had in this peculiar landscape and congratulating him for the idea to build a villa between olive trees!
