When we saw the arched entrance to the villa, we were sure that the interior will be amazing! Villa Amalia is a fantastic 3-bedroom traditional house adopting the Lindian architecture –as the owner informed us- with its white-washed and sandstone walls, an elaborate carved woodwork on the ceiling and the furniture, and vintage tiles on the floor, a courtyard made of pebble mosaic floor surrounded by flowers to sit and enjoy the starry sky or sunny mornings, in the heart of Lindos.
The villa offers three bedrooms – one fabulous master room with a majestic four poster bed, a Lindian wooden platform bed with twin mattresses and a separate twin room and two bathrooms. There is a magnificent living room with a well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area. All rooms have satellite TV and wifi throughout.
We loved the traditional elements Villa Amalia offered and could help but admiring it every time we came back from our endless walks around historical and picturesque Lindos!
